Sara Samora

Reporter

Sara Samora has been a reporter for Manufacturing Dive since it launched in 2022, covering the chemicals, defense and aerospace sectors. She previously served as the military veterans reporter for Stars and Stripes in Washington, D.C.

Sara, a native Texan, also worked at the Houston Business Journal and the New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung. She has an M.S. from Columbia Journalism School and a B.A. from the University of Houston, where she won an award from the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association.

Sara served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2009 to 2013, working as an administrator in Okinawa, Japan, and Camp Pendleton, California. She currently serves on the advisory council of Military Veterans in Journalism and was named one of the Top 10 Veterans in Journalism in 2022. You can reach her at [email protected] or on LinkedIn.
