Katie especially enjoys writing about topics including science, sustainability and economics, which she gets to explore daily in her Packaging Dive beat coverage of fiber, flexible plastics, M&A and innovation.
In addition to digital and print journalism, Katie previously worked as a TV news producer. Her freelance work has appeared in publications such as National Geographic and Bloomberg CityLab. Katie has won multiple Society of Professional Journalists, Edward R. Murrow, Azbee, and Jesse H.
